Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiogram exams across multiple body systems and assist in specialized procedures like breast biopsies and TEEs. Maintain a clean clinical environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited ultrasound school. Registration with ARDMS/RDCS is required, or the candidate must be eligible for certification within six months of hire.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity. Utilizes proper body mechanics. Moving, positioning and transferring patients without assistance or with assistance when needed for patient safety. Performs routine diagnostic ultrasound/echo exams and procedures: This includes, but not limited to: abdomen, pelvis, major vessels, and small parts (including breast, thyroid, testicular). Doppler Studies of Carotid, Abdomen, Pelvis, Small Parts, Peripheral vascular, and Echocardiac exams. Assist in breast biopsy procedures. May include OR procedures. Assist in TEE (Transesophageal) procedures. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness. Communicates and uses appropriate customer relation skills with physicians, patients, families and the healthcare team in person and via telephone.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school. Licensure/Certification: Registered with ARDMS/RDCS or eligible within 6 months of employment is required
Usd $55.65 - Usd $61.22 /Hr.
