Overview Registered Nurse – Operating Room, Travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont, United States.

Weekly pay ranges from $2,782 to $2,916 per week.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care and serve as scrub and circulator for a wide range of OR cases, including general OR, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap, trauma, thoracic, and vascular procedures. Scrub skills are required for all specialties except CVOR.
Maintain sterile technique, instrument counts, patient positioning, and intraoperative safety; collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff.
Prepare and manage circulating and scrub checklists, document perioperative care in EPIC, and ensure accurate and timely communication with the surgical team.
Adapt to a rotating day/evening schedule with a pattern typically comprising three 10-hour shifts plus one off shift; off-shift options include 0845–1915, 1045–2115, or 1245–2315.
Participate in call requirements: one weekday call per week and one 24-hour call in each four-week schedule block; travelers must work 2 of the 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day).
Complete all employment history information required for submission (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) and maintain compliance with unit needs and patient care standards.
