Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures, including trauma cases, with focus on image quality, patient safety, and comfort
• Operate CT equipment, adjust scanning protocols, administer/monitor contrast as required, and follow ALARA principles
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, data labeling, and image submission in the EPIC system
• Independently scan trauma patients when required and communicate findings to radiologists promptly
• Start peripheral IVs when needed and assist with related patient care tasks per unit policies
• Collaborate with radiology team in a teaching facility and adapt to unit needs and patient care priorities

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification/verification
• Vermont license: license application must be submitted at time of offer
• BLS certification
• EPIC experience within the past 2 years
• Experience in a similar-sized teaching facility
• Availability for at least every other weekend and schedule adjustments to meet unit needs
• Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform trauma imaging independently
