The Certified Surgical Technician manages daily musculoskeletal surgical cases and coordinates post-operative functions. They are responsible for ensuring physician needs are met and managing OR supplies and instrumentation.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST or TS-C) along with AHA BLS certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical specialty is required.
Job Shift: Days
Per Diem The Certified Surgical Technician will be responsible for the daily involvement of all musculoskeletal surgical cases and will also follow up post-op related functions and participate in all patient care conferences as they relate to surgical cases. Identify physician needs are met, equipment/supply needs, etc. or to answer calls for materials and supplies as needed. OR supplies/instrumentation needs and schedule review.
