The Certified Surgical Technician manages musculoskeletal surgical cases and coordinates post-operative functions and patient care conferences. They are responsible for ensuring physician needs are met and managing OR supplies and instrumentation.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved surgical tech school with at least 2 years of specialty OR experience. Required certifications include CST or TS-C and American Heart Association BLS.

The Certified Surgical Technician will be responsible for the daily involvement of all musculoskeletal surgical cases and will also follow up post-op related functions and participate in all patient care conferences as they relate to surgical cases. Identify physician needs are met, equipment/supply needs, etc. or to answer calls for materials and supplies as needed. OR supplies/instrumentation needs and schedule review.
