The assistant supports the Patient Care Support Services Manager by maintaining patient records and providing administrative support in compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. Key duties include triaging incoming calls from various parties and performing daily chart audits to ensure accuracy for admitted to discharged patients.
A high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required, along with a minimum of one year of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. The role requires performing clerical tasks and handling administrative duties such as call triage and record auditing.
