The LPN Charge Nurse is responsible for implementing established health care plans for assigned residents under the supervision of an RN. They also participate in ongoing data collection to support resident care.
Candidates must have an active LPN license in NC and current BLS CPR Certification. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of nurse-in-charge experience in a healthcare setting.

2nd Shift- Monday through Friday 3rd Shift- Monday through Friday *with on call responsibilities one weekend every 6-10 weeks.
Role Responsibilities The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) may participate in assuring the implementation of the established health care plan(s) for a specific number of residents as assigned and supervised by the Registered Nurse (RN). This participation in assuring plan of care implementation may be carried out by the LPN. The LPN participates and supports ongoing data collection.
Required Skills, Education, Licensure, and/or Certifications Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in NC. Must possess a current BLS CPR Certification that includes in-person skills assessment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient computer skills Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace Preferred Experience Minimum of two (2) years nurse-in-charge experience in a hospital or nursing facility
