The role involves assessing, planning, organizing, and administering rehabilitative programs designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions resulting from injury or disease. The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help residents achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.
Candidates must possess a valid and active license/certification for their respective field (PT, PTA, OTR, COTA, SLP) and typically require 2-3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A compassionate, patient-focused approach and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
