Candidates must have two years of experience coding inpatient and ambulatory records in an acute care hospital setting, along with strong attention to detail and knowledge of computer applications like Microsoft Office. Required education is a High School Diploma or equivalent, and maintaining or obtaining CPC or CCS certification within the expected timeframe is mandatory.
