Description Are you a detail-oriented person who enjoys bringing enrichment and commitment to the daily lives of the elderly? At Viva Memory Care at Dresher, located in Suburban Philadelphia —you’ll be a helping hand in the overall care of our residents in the place they call home.
Administer – Responsible for the accurate and timely distribution and documentation of medication for residents in accordance with each resident’s physician’s orders and applicable regulations. Engage – assist with resident participation in activities/other community programming while respecting individual preferences and abilities. Build– help form community among our resident population. Document – Report and record observations of changes in residents’ condition to director or supervisor in the daily logbook. Transfer relevant information to the next shift through the shift-to-shift verbal report. Collaboration – work with the Director of Nursing / Assistant Director of Nursing to bring life to the community. What you bring: Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine interest in working with seniors. Medication Technician Certification/Observation Notes/Testing Scores. Previous experience in a memory care or senior living setting preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet. Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
