The role involves providing safe, competent nursing care according to facility standards, integrating patient-centered care concepts, and offering professional leadership to the healthcare team. Responsibilities include coordinating care activities to help breastfeeding mothers achieve their goals while educating them on essential success information.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program and hold a current Nevada nursing license along with a current BLS certificate. Current IBCLC certification is required, and one year of full-time or three years of part-time acute care experience is preferred.
