An active RN license in New Mexico and at least one year of hospice experience are required. Candidates should possess strong clinical judgment, be compassionate communicators, and have reliable transportation.
Corus Hospice in Albuquerque is looking for a compassionate and experienced Hospice RN to join our close-knit team. In this field-based role, you’ll provide direct support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses—delivering expert symptom management and meaningful comfort where it matters most: at home.
Deliver skilled nursing care in alignment with each patient’s hospice plan of care. Perform in-home assessments to evaluate patient symptoms, goals, and eligibility. Provide education and emotional support to patients and families about the hospice philosophy and services. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to create and adjust individualized care plans. Manage pain and symptoms through both pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. Communicate closely with physicians, caregivers, and other providers to ensure quality, coordinated care. Support patients and families at end-of-life, including guidance through bereavement resources. Document care accurately and in a timely manner using EMR systems.
What We’re Looking For: Active RN license in New Mexico. At least one year of hospice experience is required. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in the field. Compassionate communicator with patients, families, and peers. Proficient with mobile documentation (iPad, iPhone, etc.). Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
