Job summary

The Registered Nurse – Addiction Medicine is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through the application of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This individual plays an essential role on the healthcare team by ensuring the delivery of inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive care in accordance with organizational policies, clinical protocols, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse – Addiction Medicine demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and leadership skills while supporting patients and their families through treatment and recovery. Essential job functions

• Collaborates with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and community resources to deliver high-quality care and appropriate case management.

• Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with regulations and protocols, maintaining accountability for outcomes.

• Provides cross-coverage across medical sites and participates in departmental initiatives, quality improvement, and emergency response activities.
