The Therapist directs client care through group and individual therapy, educative didactics, and quality improvement activities utilizing evidence-based strategies. This role also involves essential responsibilities such as comprehensive record keeping, managing interagency relations, and actively participating as a member of the clinical team.
Candidates must possess licensure in specific mental health or social work areas (e.g., LP, LPC, LMFT, LMSW) or hold specific addiction counseling certifications (CADC, CAADC, etc.). Alternatively, approved alternative certifications for counselors/therapists are accepted, all requiring adherence to scope of practice or specific development plans.
The Therapist is responsible to direct client care including group and individual therapy, educative didactics, and quality improvement activities using evidence-based strategies. This role is also responsible for record keeping, interagency relations and being a member of the clinical team.
