The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, collaborating as part of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities. The LPN is accountable for adhering to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and institutional policies while providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and families.
Candidates must possess an LPN Diploma Program qualification and hold a valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse license along with current AHA BLS certification. Experience is not required, but the candidate must be certified to administer medications, with IV Certification being preferred.

The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/ indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others.
