The Registered Nurse coordinates patient care delivery using the professional practice model, which involves assessing the patient, identifying diagnoses, developing and implementing an individualized plan of care, and evaluating patient responses. The RN promotes safe patient passage through the healthcare encounter by delegating interventions based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act and employee competencies.
Candidates must possess knowledge of nursing standards, relevant laws, medical terminology, health promotion principles, and medication effects, along with strong critical thinking and communication skills. Required qualifications include graduation from an Accredited Nursing Program, two years of experience, and current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program License/Certification 1 Year Acute Care/ Med Surg Tele hospital experience BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
