The role involves providing direct Occupational Therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for adolescent males in group homes, setting individualized goals, and making discharge recommendations. Responsibilities also include detailed written documentation and collaborating with physicians, families, and the healthcare team regarding treatment progress and discharge planning.
Candidates must possess initial certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current licensing by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board, along with state registration. A minimum of two years of experience as an occupational therapist is required, preferably in a school system or pediatric setting.
The Key Program, Inc. is currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to work with adolescent males within our two group home programs located in Fall River, MA and Wareham, MA. The hours available are flexible but would need to include after-school and/or weekend hours.
