The RN is responsible for monitoring the Medication Administration Program (MAP) to ensure compliance with DPH and DCF/DMH regulations. This includes observing staff, verifying medication orders, and facilitating MAP certification training.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse with at least two years of experience and be 21 years of age or older. MAP trainer certification is preferred but will be provided upon hire.
The Key Program is seeking a part-time (16 hours per week) Registered Nurse to work in our DCF adolescent residential programs in Greenfield, MA. Each residential program provides services to up to nine youth. The work schedule would be consistent week to week and will be established based on the program's needs and the candidate's preference.
Overview of the RN Position
The RN is responsible for providing quality assurance by monitoring each residential programs' Medication Administration Program (MAP) system to ensure compliance with the Massachusetts DPH and DCF/DMH. If the candidate is not a MA MAP Approved trainer, this training will be provided to the RN upon hire. This is a highly administrative position but also provides opportunity to work directly with the children on individual needs and interests related to personal health and wellbeing.
Starting hourly wage range is $37.50-41.50
