Nurses are responsible for treating infants, children, and adolescents according to the active plan of care, administering prescribed medications, and performing specialized nursing skills such as central line care and wound vac changes. They must also accurately document all activities and educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.
A current and active Registered Nurse License in Colorado in good standing is required for this position. Preferred qualifications include six months of recent clinical care experience and prior Home Health Experience.
Treat infants, children, and/or adolescents according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other appropriate personnel. Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and care. Provide nursing skills such as central line dressing changes, drawing labs, NG/GT education/support, wound care, wound vac changes, and ostomy support etc. Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care accurately and comprehensively. Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, prevention strategies, and meeting the patient's nursing needs. Qualifications Current Colorado Registered Nurse License is required. Active Nursing License in good standing (required) Attention to Detail Time Management Skills Effective Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution Good Organization and Effective Communication Six (6) months of recent experience as a Nurse in a clinical care setting (preferred) Home Health Experience (preferred)
