The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for meeting patient nutritional needs through assessment, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating results, often managing pediatric medical nutrition therapy for most patients. Duties include monitoring enteral/parenteral feedings, counseling individuals and families, and communicating nutritional data through the medical record.
A Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related field is required, along with being a Registered Dietitian and a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in Tennessee. One year of experience in Clinical Dietetics is preferred, with pediatric or neonatal experience being desired.
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Responsible for meeting nutritional needs of patients for optimal patient care; assesses nutritional needs, develops and implements nutritional care plans, evaluates and reports results. REPORTS TO Clinical Nutrition Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS Supervisory Responsibilities: No Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree required.
