The Graduate Nurse actively participates in the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program, providing age-appropriate care to patients under the direction of an RN Preceptor. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive nursing assessments, establishing and evaluating plans of care, and administering/documenting nursing interventions according to professional standards.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to practice as determined by the State Board of Nursing, with less than one year of experience as an RN. Required certifications include Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) from AHA, with specific future requirements for RN licensure depending on the state of work location.
