The Physical Therapy Assistant provides therapy treatment to patients experiencing developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This role requires adherence to all established policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and maintain patient safety.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and hold or be eligible for a PTA license in New Mexico. BLS certification is mandatory within 14 days of hire before any direct patient care can commence.
Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
