The Occupational Therapist provides therapy to patients to restore physical and mental functioning for improved independence in daily activities. They may also supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and Aides.
Candidates must hold a certificate or degree from an accredited occupational therapy school and possess NBCOT certification. A state license and approximately two years of clinical experience are preferred.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients who require restoration of physical and mental functioning. This role focuses on promoting independence in self-care, daily living activities, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans Implement therapy programs designed to improve functional independence Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and therapy aides, as applicable

Certificate or degree from an accredited occupational therapy school. Preferably two years of clinical experience (if applicable). Licensed by the state in which the Occupational Therapist resides or practices, if state requires, and has received certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
