The assistant will help evaluate clients' daily living skills and capacities to determine their abilities and limitations. Responsibilities also include assisting patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment, such as exercise instruction and manual therapy, while observing and reporting findings to the Physical Therapist.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and hold unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice in Kentucky. CPR and first aid certification are also required, and both recent graduates and experienced assistants are encouraged to apply.
