As a Stabilization Specialist, you will provide crisis support and stabilization services to clients, assisting adults with mental illness in their recovery journeys. You will deliver tailored interventions and facilitate warm handoffs with other service providers.
A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred, along with experience working with adults or families with mental illness or substance abuse. Candidates with lived experience with substance use disorder are strongly encouraged to apply.

Eliot is seeking a supportive and dedicated Stabilization Specialist to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program. Eliot's Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) is a twenty four hour program designed to stabilize and support adults in psychiatric distress. This program is designed as an alternative to hospitalization providing short term overnight crisis care.
As a Stabilization Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting adults with mental illness in their individual recovery journeys. The ideal candidate should be strongly committed to recovery-oriented services, and have the skills necessary to build supportive relationships with clients and their families. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, crisis management, and problem solving skills.
