The clinician will provide evidence-based therapy and interventions to clients experiencing their first psychotic episode across various settings. They will also conduct evaluations, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and ensure active client involvement in treatment planning.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Strong diagnostic skills, crisis intervention competence, and the ability to establish rapport with diverse clinical populations are required.
Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement to clients who are experiencing their first psychotic episode. Offer therapy in the office, virtually, in the community, or at client residences based on client preferences and needs as well as clinical direction Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, utilizing a team approach to treatment. Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients Ensure active client involvement in the treatment planning process, embracing their preferences Provide individual therapy to clients and families within the CBHC framework Establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring client safety and fostering well being.
Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or other related area. Independent Clinical Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, preferred. Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies Must be able to quickly establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations. Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.
Part-time (24 hours/week) with a flexible schedule during standard business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM). The role includes 1-2 onsite days per week based on client needs and offers the potential to expand into a full-time position as the program grows.
