The Polysomnography Technologist I is responsible for technical and patient care related to polysomnographic testing, including equipment setup, monitoring patient safety, and performing physiological calibrations. The role also involves clerical support for scheduling and documentation of testing data.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, with an associate degree preferred, and must complete specific training and certification requirements within designated timeframes. A minimum of 1,638 hours of clinical experience in polysomnography is required, along with BLS certification.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Equivalent Experience: Associate degree preferred; or BRPT approved healthcare credential for board eligibility
