This exempt position involves providing preventive and primary dental care to community health center patients, which includes examining conditions, prescribing and carrying out appropriate dental treatment, or referring patients as necessary. The role also requires accurate record-keeping, educating patients on oral health, assisting with staff training, and maintaining professional compliance.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited dental school and possess an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Louisiana, along with current CPR certification and required Louisiana CDS and DEA Registrations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and EMR experience is preferred, alongside strong communication and decision-making abilities.
A full time or part time, exempt position responsible for providing preventive and primary dental care consistent with the dentist’s training and experience in a community health center setting to patients of the center.
