The role is responsible for the cleaning, disinfection, preparation, processing, and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medical supplies and equipment according to written policies and procedures. This includes monitoring quality activities, maintaining expertise in area activities, and participating in continuous improvement processes.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and must be able to read, write, and understand English, with on-the-job training provided to achieve CRCST certification within 18 months of hire. Physical requirements include standing, walking for scheduled shifts, and occasional pushing/lifting up to 46 pounds.
