The role involves implementing the nursing process for medical and surgical patients requiring intensive monitoring and interventions within the Urgent Care Center. Responsibilities include collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure care continuity and providing outstanding patient-centered care to various patient populations.
Candidates must possess a New York State RN license and a BSN, along with a minimum of 1.5 to 2 years of clinical medical/surgical experience. Critical care, Emergency Department, or medical oncology experience is highly preferred, though New Graduate RNs with relevant preceptorships may be considered.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required) Active New York State RN license required at time of hire Active BLS Certification required Critical Care/ Emergency Department and/or medical oncology experience highly preferred Core Skills: Willing to take action and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
