Job Description

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join the Children in Care (CIC) Team. In this rewarding role, you’ll support looked-after children and young people, helping to ensure they receive the care, stability, and opportunities they deserve.

What will your responsibilities be?

• In this role, you will manage a caseload of children and young people under the care of the local authority, developing and reviewing care plans in line with statutory requirements.
• You will ensure their safety and well-being by addressing safeguarding concerns and advocating for their voice in all decisions.
• Through collaboration with foster carers, schools, health professionals, and others, you will support their development.
• You will attend multi-agency meetings, including Looked After Child (LAC) reviews, and ensure compliance with legal duties.
• This includes preparing court reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting transitions such as reunification or independence.

Qualifications: & Experience:

• To be successful in this role you must have,
• Social Work England registration
• Right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving licence
• Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Post-qualified experience in children in care, safeguarding, or statutory children’s services
