The primary role involves providing high-quality healthcare to members through direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for acute and chronic conditions, including performing necessary procedures and rounding on patients. Additionally, the role includes performing health maintenance services, patient education, referring specialty cases, and documenting all care according to legal standards.
Candidates must graduate from an ANA-approved NP or AMA-approved PA training program, or possess equivalent qualifications meeting State licensure requirements, including specific credentials for Oregon and Washington states within six months of hire. Required credentials include an NPI and DEA Registration, along with working knowledge of common diseases, healthcare laws, and demonstrated ability to assess and treat common medical issues.
Provide high quality health care to Kaiser Permanente members in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with accepted professional practice standards.
Two (2) years clinical experience.
This position will be required to float to KZS, NLR, and SKY as needed.
