The role involves providing licensed professional nursing care to support cardiovascular physicians, performing triage, documentation, injections, and coordinating patient care both in-clinic and via phone. Responsibilities also include assisting with specialized procedures like Coumadin clinics, blood draws, and pacemaker checks.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Louisiana, along with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Required skills include proficiency in clinical documentation, EMR systems, patient communication, triage, and assisting with diagnostic testing.
