The provider will spend approximately 50% of their time delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients, including evaluation and management services. The remaining 50% will be dedicated to supporting physician colleagues and clinical workflows, focusing on care coordination and practice efficiency without building an independent patient panel.
Candidates must be an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant holding an active Maryland license, DEA/CDS licenses, and BLS certification, with a Master's or graduation from an accredited PA program. Prior experience in Internal Medicine or adult primary care is preferred, alongside strong clinical judgment and proficiency with EMR systems.
Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG), a highly respected 160+ provider, multi-specialty medical group, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Primary Care and Internal Medicine team in a unique Full-Time role that will cover both clinics. This position is ideal for an APP who thrives in a collaborative environment, values high-quality patient care, and enjoys supporting a physician-led team while maintaining a balanced and rewarding clinical practice.
In this role, you will spend approximately 50% of your time providing direct patient care and 50% supporting the provider team through clinical coordination and workflow support. Unlike traditional primary care roles, you will not be responsible for building or managing your own patient panel, allowing you to focus on excellent care, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
As an Advanced Practice Provider at FHMG, you will function as a clinician, consultant, educator, and collaborative partner to physician colleagues. You will help coordinate high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting practice efficiency, population health initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
You will provide comprehensive evaluation and management services to adult and geriatric patients, grounded in evidence-based medicine and aligned with national quality standards such as Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) principles.
