The Medical Assistant will perform various Occupational Health clinical tasks including drug and alcohol testing, vaccinations, lab draws, physical exams, and assisting with minor office procedures while ensuring compliant processes and accurate documentation in the EMR. Responsibilities also involve patient intake, discharge, education, charge entry, and cross-training on front office duties like registration and scheduling.
Candidates must be capable of performing essential Occupational Health clinical functions such as drug screens, physicals, and administering medications, while maintaining strong attention to detail in documentation and compliance with FMCSA and OSHA regulations. A willingness to collaborate with the team and learn other roles within Occupational Health and Convenient Care is also required.

Performs drug and alcohol testing, vaccinations, lab draws, tb skin tests, hearing and vision tests, Worker's Comp, physical exams and various other Occupational Health services. Assists in minor office procedures and injections, performs patient intake assessments, discharges patients from clinic and procedures, educates patients. Works collaboratively with the Occupational Health team to provide high-quality services with a focus on compliant processes and employer directives. Understanding of government compliance and regulated processes, ensuring work is performed as required by procedural guidelines.
