Our singular focus is Patient Care Second to None! Job Summary: Behavioral health technicians provide care and support to patients with behavioral disorders. They work directly with the patients to deliver services under the supervision of various types of behavior analysts. Their duties will include but are not limited to observing and recording patient behavior, providing emotional support, assisting with daily activities, report on patient progress, crisis intervention, maintain confidentiality, and complete documentation. Duties

• Support patient activities and ensure safety.
• Maintain a BHT-to-patient ratio following provider orders.
• Assist with daily living activities and monitor patient behavior.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques to deescalate conflicts in a manner that keeps staff and patients safe
• Concentration skills to understand complex written and verbal instructions and follow them completely
• Basic knowledge of anatomy, mental health conditions and common treatments
