The pharmacist is responsible for reviewing and modifying all medication orders, and supervising pharmacy technicians in compounding, storing, and preparing medications. They must also monitor drug therapies for appropriateness and ensure compliance with hospital guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Candidates must be a graduate of an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy, with a Pharm D being preferred, and must possess an active Illinois Pharmacist licensure. Consideration may be given to foreign college graduates who are appropriately licensed.
