This role involves assisting physicians and nursing staff with patient care at the Hunt Valley location, focusing on chart management and optimizing patient flow. The assistant will perform delegated medical tasks and may handle clerical duties as needed.
Candidates should ideally have a high school diploma or GED, along with two to three years of medical assisting and medical office experience. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program, current Medical Assistant certification, demonstrated venipuncture skill, and current CPR certification are required.
Responsible for assisting physicians and nursing staff with patient care at our Hunt Valley location. Responsible for chart management and patient flow. Performs delegated medical tasks and may perform clerical duties. Where the electronic system is in use, this position will utilize the system as documented in the department and/or FPI standard operating procedure and process; and other duties as assigned.
