The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing and implementing specialized treatment plans to help individuals lead independent lives. This role involves close collaboration with Orthopaedic surgeons and non-operative providers to organize schedules and ensure successful patient outcomes.
A Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an ACOTE accredited program, including completion of clinical rotations, is required. Candidates must hold or be eligible for an MD license in Occupational Therapy, and pursuing Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) specialization is mandatory if the applicant is not already a CHT.
Responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans working with people of all ages who need specialized assistance to lead independent, productive lives. The Occupational Therapist will be expected to work closely with our Orthopaedic surgeons and non-operative providers in organizing their client schedules with successful outcomes and patient satisfaction; and other duties as assigned.
