The Nurse Practitioner will function as a key member of the healthcare team, providing primary and preventive care to patients of all ages, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses. Responsibilities also involve conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab results, prescribing treatments, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians to coordinate care plans.
Candidates must possess a current and valid California RN license, California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with a Furnishing Number, DEA registration, and BLS Certification, along with National Nurse Practitioner Certification. Essential skills include excellent communication, strong problem-solving abilities, empathy, the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, and proficiency with EHR systems.
