The role involves independently evaluating patients, determining treatment strategies, and delivering or delegating services to remediate or prevent impairments to maximize function in activities of daily living, leisure, and productivity. This includes addressing dysfunctions in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components through various interventions.
Candidates must possess current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist and obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross, with online certification being unacceptable. Desired qualifications include experience in inpatient rehabilitation.

Independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged, skill or ability that has not yet is impaired in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.
Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
