The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by a physician, which includes monitoring mechanical ventilation and administering medications. Key duties also involve patient assessment, understanding hemodynamic monitoring ramifications, interpreting blood work results, and providing patient teaching and training.
require current Registered Respiratory Therapist status for state licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross, with online certification being unacceptable. Hospital experience is preferred for this role.

Responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered per physician, monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, patient assessment, understanding ramifications of hemodynamic monitoring, understanding blood work results, monitoring, teaching, and training.
Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
