Caregivers will assist clients with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, dressing, bathing, and medication management, while also providing social engagement activities. They must also report client conditions and unusual incidents to medical staff and family members.
Candidates must be respectful, compassionate, possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and have the physical endurance for required tasks. A valid driver's license, vehicle, and successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and fingerprinting are mandatory.
The Caregiver provides direct care services to clients in their homes or community settings. This role supports clients with daily living activities while ensuring services are delivered safely, respectfully, and in accordance with care plans and organizational standards.
Workweek, compensation, and benefits
This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Omatochi offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; paid time off; holidays; and additional benefits consistent with company policy. Overtime, meal periods, and rest breaks are provided in accordance with California law.
