The Intake Coordinator handles general business office functions including charge capture, insurance verification, and pre-authorizations. This role also involves counseling patients on payment issues and ensuring accurate entry of all required insurance and demographic information into the billing system.
A minimum of two years of front office experience in a medical environment is required, along with a high school diploma or GED. A college degree is considered a plus for this position.
