The Medical Assistant II is responsible for facilitating the smooth flow of patients through the clinic by interacting with patients, families, and staff. Duties include assisting with physical examinations, managing medical records, performing routine laboratory tests, and handling clerical tasks.
Minimum requirements include certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, completion of a recognized one-year Medical Assistant Program, or completion of a healthcare profession program with relevant curriculum elements. Desired qualifications include experience with Medical Terminology and Public Contact/Customer Service, with Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
