The Dietitian will establish medical nutrition therapy standards and deliver direct patient care, which includes expertly counseling patients, developing nutritional care plans, and meticulously documenting interventions. Responsibilities also involve participating in quality assurance, educating staff and the community, and optimizing patient outcomes using the Virginia Mason Production System.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and Registered Dietitian status (RD/RDN), along with Washington State Department of Health Licensure. Candidates must possess working knowledge of relevant sciences like anatomy, pharmacology, and therapeutic nutrition, alongside strong counseling and collaborative skills.
