The Veteran Care Technician coordinates comprehensive services for veterans under the VA Contract program, reporting to the Veteran Services Coordinator. Responsibilities include overseeing compliance, providing support services, assisting with intake/discharge, maintaining data entry, coordinating care with VA personnel, and overseeing medication management.
Candidates need an Associate degree in a Human Service discipline, or one year of related experience can substitute for the degree. Preferred qualifications include experience with homeless/at-risk veterans, case management, and counseling, along with a valid Nevada Driver License and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

The Part-Time Veteran Care Technician for the VA Contract program reports directly to Veteran Services Coordinator and is responsible for the coordination and comprehensive services delivered to veterans by The Salvation Army Veteran Services.
