include performing pre-analytic specimen processing, operating laboratory and office equipment, entering data and test orders into the computer system, and responding to inquiries regarding testing information. The role also involves ensuring correct patient identification, documenting specimen issues, and potentially preparing complex reagents.
Candidates need an associate degree or a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience, or equivalent experience. Required attributes include strong organizational skills, the ability to work quickly, good communication skills, and adherence to strict safety protocols for handling chemicals and infectious agents.
