The Organizer will identify healthcare and human service workers interested in unionizing, meeting with them individually or in groups to discuss union benefits. Responsibilities also include training workers to become leaders, supporting union drives, and participating in union-wide activities, rallies, and events.
Candidates should ideally have previous experience as a Union Organizer, Delegate, or Activist within a healthcare institution and must demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work with diverse populations. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license, be willing to work long hours including nights and weekends, and successfully pass the SEIU One Day Training/Screening.
