The Acupuncturist provides acupuncture therapy services to Mass General Brigham patients in both inpatient and ambulatory settings, focusing on alleviating pain, stress, anxiety, nausea, and other side effects associated with illness and treatment. This role requires working under the direction of a supervisor to deliver appropriate care to varied patient populations.
Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of experience practicing acupuncture, along with demonstrated knowledge of acupuncture theory, anatomy, and physiology for safe patient judgment. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required, while a Master's Degree is preferred, and a Massachusetts Acupuncturist license is mandatory.

Job Summary Acupuncturist provides acupuncture therapy services in conjunction with medical care to MGBCI patients. Primary areas of focus for acupuncturist includes alleviation of pain, stress and anxiety associated with illness and treatment as well as other side effects and symptoms such as nausea. The acupuncturist treats in both inpatient and ambulatory settings as directed by their supervisor. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Demonstrated knowledge of acupuncture theory, anatomy and physiology. - Demonstrated ability to make appropriate judgments of the patient to provide safe acupuncture. - Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served on assigned units. - Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with varied populations. - Work independently, be self-directed and contribute as a member of a team. - High level of service delivery Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations. - Must carry professional liability insurance.
